High Ropes Course
Get High with Ace...
Ever wanted to know what it feels like to fly? We can’t quite turn you into a bird but we can let you loose on our High Ropes Course. The biggest and best in Scotland, take part in a range of aerial activities, leaping for distant trapezes, climbing swinging poles or helping your mates scale a giant, slippery ladder. Perfect for families, corporate groups, school groups, stag and hen parties and pretty much anyone who is up for a challenge. Only a short drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh, we guarantee you’ll love it.

This high ropes course is made up of a massive steel structure suspended on four giant wooden poles, 50 feet in height with various challenges suspended underneath. While you climb, you’re safely attached to a rope which is kept tight above you at all times. If you fall off or want to come down, just sit back and let yourself be lowered to the ground. The challenges include;

Balance Beams – Balance your way along 3 poles 10, 25 and 40 feet above the ground.
Traverse Challenge – Make your way up an angled beam, climb up to a precarious tight-rope then climb again to the ring-to-ring traverse, 40 feet up.
Caterpillar Climbs – Race your friend up one of the two 45 feet high dangling poles. The winner is the first to ring the bell or hoot the hooter at the top.
Trapeze Jump – Challenge yourself and your friends to make the longest jump from the top of the wobbly pole for the adjustable trapeze. Beware of the tiny spinning platform on top.
All Aboard – Up to 4 climbers can scale this huge central pole and stand on the small platform on top. The catch? The only holds for this are aluminium pegs that have to be passed up the pole between the climbers as they ascend. Easy enough to do with lots of pegs; much harder with only a few.
Jacobs Ladder – This giant ladder is made up of telegraph pole rungs, widely spaced and suspended on wires making the whole thing rock forwards and backwards. You’ll need the assistance of the other 3 climbers to complete the ascent and get all of you to the top.
Fan Descender – Climb up the platform at the top of the course then simply leap off, dropping vertically before you touch the ground 1 -2 seconds later. This device is what the military use to teach parachuting and is fantastic fun, if a little scary the first time round.

The course is suitable for kids from age 10. All you need to bring is a comfy pair of shoes that you’ll be able to climb in and outdoor clothing, suitable to the weather conditions on the day. The course can take groups of 30 people at a time. Minimum number of four people.
The Price is £35.00 per person for a half day session. Call now on 01479 810 510 to speak to a member of staff and make your booking.
