What
Ace Adventure offer Mountain Bike Hire and bespoke Tours. We have a good selection of quality front suspension mountain bikes that can also take child seats and trailers for families. Included are helmets, trail maps, and puncture repair kits.
Aviemore is fantastic base for mountain biking that offers a wide variety of trails, paths and single track through spectacular Caledonian Pine Forest at relatively easy gradients through to crossing over Mountain Terrain.
We can let you loose on your own or can arrange bespoke tours and bike skills workshops.

Where
Aviemore – Great base to go out exploring the forest trails of the Strathspey. Bikes can be collected from our offices.
Aberfeldy – Explore the banks of the River Tay and surrounding rugged terrain, we have 10 bikes available for hire from Aberfeldy or more on arrangement.
Aberfoyle – Bikes can be supplied on arrangement to explore the banks of the infamous Loch Lomond.

When
One of the great things about Mountain Bikes is that you can go in relative comfort all year round however in mid winter there can be a icy conditions, after all this is Scotland!
Best time of year for the tours; Spring is great, Summer warm and Autumn spectacular.
How
Bikes can be booked online for Aviemore and Aberfeldy or by arrangement for anywhere else in Scotland. Enquiries by email or by phone on 01479 810 510 are welcome.
Prices:
• Bike Hire – Includes helmet, trial map and basic puncture repair kit
- £20.00 for a full 24 hours or £15.00 for a half day
- £15.00 for Bike Seat or Trailer
- £5.00 for super padded Gel seat
• Bike Tours and skills workshop £35.00 per person for half day and £55.00 for full days
• Overnight Tours are bespoke, if interested in a tailor made package to suit your ability get in touch

Why
Riding a bike is freedom personified, with the wind blowing through your hair as you slip by legs pumping like pistons or free wheeling down a forest track. Aside form the obvious health benefits Mountain Bike riding in Scotland is a great way to meet the natural local inhabitants and take in the stunning scenery that the Highlands are renowned for.
For families there are relatively flat trails that are suitable for child seats and trailers. For those of average fitness with a passion for adventure some of the single track trails through the Forests are great fun. Serious biker or bike fit and fancy a wilderness experience in the hills and over land then we can steer you in the right direction.
