Great thanks - I'm glad I don't have to describe my wife as 'short and wide' on paper! Let's just say you should have a large-ish wet suit available for her

Name withheld for marital reasons!

Peter Lambert

2007 Guide

Born in Nottingham in 1985, currently doing a BA (Honours) Outdoor Leadership at University of Central Lancashire. During my degree in Outdoor Leadership I will study the theories of leadership in detail, using leaders of the past and present to relate the theories to. We have regular practical sessions that also include expeditions in the UK and abroad. One of my core modules is Expedition Planning in which we discuss the logistics of running expeditions from a commercial and personal point of view. A key aim of the course is working towards gaining experience and technical abilities for National Governing Body awards.

During holiday periods at university I have worked as an instructor on Kayaking, Canoeing, Climbing, Zip wire, High Ropes, Rafting, Canyoning and Abseiling.

All good for Pete and his missing fingers!

During 2004 I spent seven months backpacking around the World. I visited seven countries including China, Thailand, New Zealand, Fiji and the USA.

In 2006 I went on a kayaking holiday to Uganda when I paddled all the main sections except Hypoxia. During April 2007 I went on a kayaking expedition around Europe as part of my university course.
