Hi Ace Team, The pics are excellent....a reminder of an amazing day! Our guides Paul & Shanna (hope thats the correct spelling?) were fab..so friendly but yet professional, they made our day all the more enjoyable! A big thanks to Jamie too for risking his life to capture our experience (its amazing how he wizzes about in that wee Kayak)! Again thank you all so much for the amazing experience...one i will be sure to recommend!

Booking

Terms and Conditions

 

1. Ace Adventure reserves the right to change the venue or to postpone or cancel any trip if we feel water levels or weather conditions on the day of the trip are incompatible towards a safe trip.

2. Ace Adventure accept bookings either on our internet ‘Booking’ form, email, telephone or by written letter.  Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cleared Cheque, Cash or Card.  Card Payments can incur a surcharge of which you will be notified in advance.

3. Bookings are accepted when Ace Adventure receives a NON REFUNDABLE deposit. Ace Adventure reserves the right to make exceptions to the above where instances dictate.

4. All cancellations must be advised in writing and signed by the person who originally made the booking with Ace Adventure. Cancellations are accepted as from the date Ace Adventure receives confirmation of cancellation.

5. Cancellations incur the following charges:

  • Date of booking to 14 days prior to the trip taking place lose the non-refundable deposit
  • Within 14 days of the trip taking place charged the full amount of the trip

Change in numbers of participants from an original or amended booking must be confirmed by telephone or email no later than 14 days prior to the trip.  Failure to call or email with final numbers will result in being charged for all persons booked.

6. All invoices and outstanding balances must be paid on the date of the trip or no later than 30 days of the date of invoice. Ace Adventure charge all outstanding accounts at 2.5% interest for every seven days thereafter.

7. Ace Adventure reserve the right to make alterations to brochure details, and any other company documents, before and after any booking has been received and confirmed. Most of these changes will be minor and in most cases we will inform you at the earliest opportunity.

8. Even though Ace Adventure carries full Public Liability Insurance, it is strongly suggested that participants carry their own personal accident policy that covers them for the activity they are undertaking. This should include river rafting up to and including Grade 5 whitewater where appropriate.  Personal accident policies are usually available from your own insurance broker or you can try Essential Travel or Snowcard.

9. ALL participants must be made aware by the person booking the trip that Whitewater rafting, as well as other outdoor adventurous activities, carry a degree of risk. Even though Ace Adventure has tried to minimise these risks, there is still a chance that participants may fall into cold, turbulent water that is fast flowing. Participants will only be accepted on the understanding that they are aware of these risks and wish to participate of their own free will.

10. On signing or completeing the ‘Participation Form’ or Company Document, or receiving a trip confirmation, you agree to honour and abide by the Booking Terms and Conditions and Activity Terms and Conditions laid down by Ace Adventure, and have made all the participants in your party aware of these terms and conditions.
